THE JUNCTION
- MIXED-USE BUILDING WITH STUDENTS DORMS -
Warsaw, Poland

This student dormitory project reinterprets Polish 'Stucco' houses as greenhouses, merging permaculture with traditional architecture. The design includes a double skin facade with a steel and glass exoskeleton and traditional brickwork, enhancing energy efficiency and adjusting for seasonal demands. Spaces between the facades serve as social areas, promoting community and interaction while improving environmental and social wellbeing. The the project acts as a greenhouse, roofed by a green canopy of permaculture - generating organic products for the restaurants on the public ground floor.
